Instructor: Hope Medina Description: A building ventilation/mechanical system doesn’t just appear. It starts with the design of the system and ends with it being inspected. We need to know what should be provided on the plans and what should we be looking for when reviewing a project to get the desired results in the field by the contractors and inspectors for energy compliance? We are going to review these questions with examples from plans and pictures from the field, both good and maybe not so good. Let’s talk about the process that is needed to get a project compliant with the energy code.
