Description: Reviews the changes from the last edition to the current edition of the International Existing Building Code (IEBC). The background behind many of the changes will be discussed to provide the participant with an understanding of the intent of the changes and how to apply it to their everyday work. Subjects covered in the class will include the code change process, Alterations, Additions, Change of occupancy, Historic buildings, application of the new changes and many more. In addition to providing education credits and providing a class certificate to building and fire code officials the certificate issued with this class qualifies for Montana State Board of Architects licensing CE (6 hours). Additionally, provider will report AIA credits for course attendees providing AIA numbers on the course sign in sheet.
