Description: This course is a comprehensive discussion of the major compartmentalization concepts of the IBC, focusing on those requirements which deal with building size, sprinkler options and mixed-occupancy building. Included are topics on allowable area increases, unlimited area buildings, fire area concept and construction, incidental/accessory use area and the distinction between separated/non-separated uses.
