Commercial Compliance Paths for Plan Review

Instructor: Hope Medina Description: This session takes a look at the flexibility and options provided in the International Energy Conservation Code in determining paths of demonstrating code compliance. Attendees will review what type of documentation is needed for each path. We will look at how COMcheck, ASHRAE 90.1, and Energy Raters, are used as compliance metrics and how the “Mandatory” items of the code are affected or put into play depending on the compliance path chosen in the design process.
