Description: This course aims to equip individuals with the necessary skills to bridge the communication gap between building department professionals and the communities they serve.  The course will provide an in-depth understanding of establishing cohesive teams within the department, delivering exceptional client service, and managing difficult situations effectively.  The key to personal and organizational success lies in effective communication, especially in public relations, where perception is paramount.  Our duty as government professionals is to project a positive image, uphold ethical standards, and earn the respect of the public we serve.  Who is the intended audience: Permit Technicians, Inspectors, receptionists, or anyone interacting with the public.
