How do air barriers and thermal bridging fit into the thermal envelope? The Building Thermal Envelope is a critical component of project design that serves to provide thermal resistance and create a level of safety and separation between the exterior environment and the interior conditioned spaces. This training course will discuss what the energy code provisions has for various materials and assemblies that provide this, and where provisions have increased and those locations that the provisions decreased.
