Description: This program provides an advanced review of the fire and life safety provisions of the International Building Code as they apply to large, complex and atypical buildings. The seminar begins with the determinations that govern everything downstream — how a use is classified, and whether a structure is treated as one building or several — and then works through the rated assemblies, vertical opening protections, active fire protection systems, interior finish classifications and egress arrangements that follow from those determinations.
