An Overview of the Codes

September 16, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

This class will review the interactions of the building codes used in the design of projects. It is designed for those engineers and architects that don’t normally work directly with the actual building code. However, there are some areas of the building code that point towards other codes and how they apply. The format of the International Building Code and how the code interacts with other codes will be discussed. This is a very general overview of the codes and will not spend much time on the specific requirements of the building code.
