Description: This half-day seminar addresses the relationship of the International Existing Building Code to existing buildings. The seminar focuses on the fundamental requirements related to an existing structure that undergoes repair work, alteration, renovation activity or construction of an addition, and the effect of a change in the building’s occupancy classification. Discussion includes an overview of the changes in the 2021 edition and proper application of the IEBC.
