SCA completed the building plan review and inspections of this major redevelopment of an existing retail center. The first phase of this review that has be completed is four and five story apartments on top of podium and basement parking garages with wrap around retail and residential construction. These projects are a mix of type V-A, III-B and I-A construction and represent the initial revitalization of over 15 acres at the existing retail center. The second phase was a continued redevelopment of six additional city blocks that included construction of a new hotel, mid-rise office buildings, retail and theatre buildings, and associated below and above grade parking structures. The project was recently completed with the addition of final art and parks to the site (which were also reviewed by SCA).
