Residential Air Barriers for the Designer

Instructor: Troy Jones Description: This class will not only provide what the code requires for air barriers, but what details should be included because it is what the plans examiner is looking for from the designer. What does code intend when requiring Air barrier and air sealing details shall be represented on the construction drawings. Is it a note or a detail, we will discuss when it each of these are appropriate to utilize for compliance. We will provide clear examples of what is required and needed for the trade contractor to install. Remember it is the designer who designs and the trade contactor to construct.
